The Milwaukee Bucks will have problems at point guard this season
The Bucks have a collection of young point guards who will try to run the offense this season. 28-year old Luke Ridnour has the most experience of this bunch. He played in 72 games (50 starts) for the Bucks last season and he averaged 28.2 minutes, 9.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. Ridnour is also a streak shooter who can carry an offense when he’s hot. 24-year old Roko Ukic came over in a trade with the Raptors and he will battle Ridnour for playing time. He played in 72 games last season for the Raptors and he averaged 12.4 minutes, 4.2 points, 1.0 rebound and 2.1 assists per game. Ukic seems to be a shoot first point guard and that might not fit with the Bucks’ style of play. 19-year old Brandon Jennings was the 10th pick of the first round for the Bucks. He played last season in Europe and he got schooled over there. Jennings won’t likely see a lot of playing time this season.
