Larry Sanders had a so/so rookie season for the Milwaukee Bucks

22-year old power forward Larry Sanders had a so/so rookie year for the Bucks.  He played in 60 games (12 starts) for the Bucks last year and he averaged 14.5 minutes, 4.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game.  Sanders only shot 43.3% from the floor and 56% from the free throw line, so he will need to work on his shooting over the summer.   Sanders has the potential to be a starter down the road for the Bucks, but he will need to really improve his game because they have a lot of depth at the position.

Milwaukee Bucks 110, Oklahoma City Thunder 106 in O.T.

The Bucks outscored the Thunder 46-32 in the 4th quarter and overtime to down the Thunder in Oklahoma City last night.  Brandon Jennings only shot  4 of 11 from the floor but he still led the way for the Bucks last night with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals and 1 blocked  shot.  John Salmons (15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals) and Ersan Ilyasova (14 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in with solid games for the Bucks last night.  Corey Maggette (12 points), Michael Redd (11 points), Carlos Delfino (10 points), Drew Gooden (10 points) and Larry Sanders (10 points) also helped out for the Bucks last night.  The Bucks finished the 2010-11 regular season with a 35-47 record.

The Bucks outscored the Raptors 24-15 in the 4th quarter last night to surge to victory.  John Salmons led the way for the Bucks last night with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.  Brandon Jennings (21 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Drew Gooden (19 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocked shots) also had very solid games for the Bucks last night.  The Bucks are now 34-47 on the year.

The Milwaukee Bucks shut down Jon Brockman

The Bucks have decided to shut down 23-year old power forward Jon Brockman for the rest of the year due to a separated shoulder.  He played in 63 games (6 starts) for the Bucks this year and he averaged 10.7 minutes, 2.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game.  Brockman shot 51.1% from the floor this year as most of his shots come from in tight near the basket.  Brockman plays hard every night and the Bucks like him despite him being buried on the depth chart.

The Bucks shot 50.6% from the floor last night and it was a big reason for the win.  John Salmons led the way for the Bucks last night with 32 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Drew Gooden got his first career triple/double last night as he finished up with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists and 2 blocked shots.  Brandon Jennings also had a pretty solid game  last night with 14 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals.  Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (12 points), Ersan Ilyasova (11 points) and Michael Redd (10 points in 18 minutes) also pitched in for the Bucks last night.  The Bucks are now 33-47 on the year.

The Bucks were outrebounded 49-32 last night and they didn’t play much D as the Pistons shot 50% from the floor which helps explain the road loss.  Brandon Jennings led the way for the Bucks last night with 31 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.  Ersan Ilyasova (18 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal) and Drew Gooden (12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also had solid games for the Bucks last night.  Keyon Dooling (11 points) and John Salmons (10 points) also pitched in for the Bucks last night.  The Bucks are now 32-47 on the year.

The Milwaukee Bucks shut down Andrew Bogut

The Bucks have decided to shut down 26-year old center Andrew Bogut as he needs elbow surgery.  Bogut played in 65 games (all starts) for the Bucks this year and he averaged 35.3 minutes, 12.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.6 blocked shots per game.  His only real weakness this year was his free throw shooting as he hit only 44.2% from the free throw line (96 of 217).  Drew Gooden, Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders will all likely pick up more minutes to pick up the slack for the loss of Bogut.

The Bucks outscored the Heat 27-22 in the 4th quarter last night as they wanted this game more than the Heat did.  John Salmons (17 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (14 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals) led the way for the Bucks last night.  Corey Maggette (14 points), Keyon Dooling (10 points) and Andrew Bogut (6 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 4 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Bucks last night.  The Bucks are now 32-46 on the year.

The Bucks only shot 36% from the floor last night and they were outrebounded 49-33, which helps explain the loss last night.  Drew Gooden led the way for the Bucks last night with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  Keyon Dooling (10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal in 17 minutes) and John Salmons (9 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals) also pitched in for the Bucks last night.  The Bucks are now 31-46 on the year.

Brandon Jennings is getting hot for the Milwaukee Bucks

21-year old point guard Brandon Jennings has really played pretty well for the Bucks as of late.  In his last six games, Jennings is averaging 42.2 minutes, 22.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.  He has now played in 57 games (55 starts) so far this year for the Bucks and he is averaging 34.3 minutes, 16.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game.  Jennings is only shooting 38.7% from the floor this season as he continues to have problems with shot selection.
