Yi Jianlian is losing playing time for the Milwaukee Bucks

Rookie power forward Yi Jianlian is losing playing time since returning from an injury. He is losing minutes to Charlie Villanueva who really has played well with the additional minutes he got when Yi was hurt. Yi has now played in 57 games (49 starts) this season for the Bucks and he is averaging 25.6 minutes, 9.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Yi is shooting 43.4% from the floor and 83.8% from the free throw line this season. Yi will have to improve to get more playing time as Villanueva has taken his starting job for now. The other Bucks rookie (Ramon Sessions) has yet to play in a game for the team.

The Bucks only shot 39.8% from the floor last night and it killed them in the end. Michael Redd led the way for the Bucks with 25 points and 4 rebounds. Andrew Bogut stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Maurice Williams only played 22 minutes last night due to an ejection but he still finished with 13 points and 2 rebounds. The Bucks are now 22-37 on the season.

The Bucks couldn’t keep up with the hot shooting Nets (50.6%) on Thursday Night. Michael Redd led the way for the Bucks with 33 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Maurice Williams did a solid job of running the offense as he finished up with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. Andrew Bogut was awesome in the paint as he finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots. The Bucks are now 22-36 on the season.
