Just when the Bucks got healthy Earl Boykins tore ligaments in his right thumb. It’s unsure at this time whether or not Boykins will try to play through it or shut it down. Boykins ahs played in 51 games this season and he’s averaged 14.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

The Bucks lose a tough one 95-93 to the Knicks in New York

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Game Recaps by alleyoop on Saturday 24 February 2007 at 8:22 pm

The Bucks thought they were going to OT last night but the refs reviewed a foul call and put Channing Frye at the line with 0.8 seconds left in the game and he made both free tosses and the Bucks lost their 7th game in a row! Can’t blame Maurice Williams for the loss as he scored 28 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and stole the ball 3 times. Andrew Bogut also had a solid game for the Bucks with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Bucks were outrebounded 52-39 by the Pacers last night and they just seemed to wear down in the 2nd OT period. Michael Redd led the way for the Bucks with 38 points. Maurice Williams had a good game running the offense with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Charlie Bell also had a solid game with 21 points and 5 rebounds.

The Bucks to be without their back up center for a while

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Injuries by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 21 February 2007 at 5:06 pm

The Bucks lost Dan Gazduric until late March after he dislocated his left shoulder. This could hurt the Bucks a little bit as he would give Andrew Bogut a breather every night. Gadzuric has played in 44 games this season and has averaged 12.8 minutes, 3.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Injuries ruined the first half for the Bucks

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page by Nothing but Net on Tuesday 20 February 2007 at 9:57 pm

The Bucks are 19-34 and are in last place in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference, 14 games back. With Michael Redd, Charlie Villanueva and Bobby Simmons all missing a lot of time (Simmons will miss the whole season), the Bucks really never had a chance this season. Maurice Williams and Andrew Bogut are both having real good seasons this year. Ruben Patterson and Charlie Bell have both played well too, but the Bucks don’t really have any depth on their roster. Look for them to play better in the second half with Michael Redd back, but don’t expect any miracles.

The Bucks get thumped 117-97 by the Celtics in Boston

The Bucks just didn’t play any defense last night and it cost them. Maurice Williams led the way for the Bucks with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Charlie Bell also had a solid game with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
